We are an international group of industrial designers who
works on the development of technical products
for  SOUTH COUNTRIES.

Central to our work is the thought that products and values
developed in the WEST over a period of many decades,
can not simply be transferred to SOUTH COUNTRIES, because
these products do not always meet their real requirements-
but often worsen their social situation.

For this reason our work is based on methods of
APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY,  SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
&  SOCIAL ENGINEERING
and it is our aim to develop products tailored to the user's needs
in respect of function, manufacturing costs and acceptability.

We worked on projects in the following fields:

ENERGY-SAVING PRODUCTS, BIO-COAL BRIQUETTES,
IMPROVED CHARCOAL PRODUCTION (retort),

BIO-MASS STOVES, SOLAR- SYSTEMS, FOODSTUFF STORAGE,
TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT for MEDICAL PURPOSES, etc.

and we have worked in these countries:

Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Ruanda, Kenya, Niger, Pakistan,
India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru and Brazil.
